Bear Hunting Season in Maryland
Why?
After 51 years do they have a Bear Hunt in Maryland.
Why?
Was the first bear killed less than a year old bear weighing 84 pounds. Was that a big challenge?
"David Ciekot, 35, of Cambridge, Md., said he shot the bear from a tree stand from about 40 yards away, just after dawn on private land near the western Maryland community of Friendsville.
"I came all this way for a 2-minute hunt," Ciekot joked with a friend after killing the 9-month-old bear with one shot."
Hmm...Perhaps it was a 2-minute hunt because your target was so small.
