Vishwa Hindu Parishad stall alleged conversion proceedings by Christian missionaries in UP

About 30 Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists disrupted a meeting conducted by Christian missionaries accusing them of attempting religious conversion on January 21st. The Christian attendees allege there was no conversion going on.

Right to Congregate
The Christian group had a right to meet and I strongly believe that violence is not the answer, when dealing with missionaries and converts. There was no apparent violence involved with this incident. However the meeting was disrupted by the two groups.

Having written the above, I must state the point of the blog, which is that the conversion tactics used by these Christian missionaries are despicable. Promising jobs, food, shelter in return for someone soul is inhumane. It's like they get bonus points for every person they are able to convert. They seriously need to be stopped! And it's not like becoming Christian helps the people out, they are faced with the same poverty.

Hi,
If christians forcibly convert people, then yeah they are sort of missing the whole point and they are absolutely wrong to do that.
But something that many people don't realise is that most missionaries give what is called the gospel, which is the message of Christ. And what is this message? That He who is God came to the world as a man and died on the cross so that man can be saved. And why should man be saved. Because man is a sinner, and is evil. And how does Christ dying save man. Well, in the past animals blood was sacrificed for cleansing man's sin. But that was definitely not sufficient. God replaced the animal with himself for the ultimate sacrifice. That's how much He loved mankind.
Anyways before you go who on earth and why on earth...My point is this...
Many missionaries just give this simple gospel to the people who attend their meetings. Most of the messages end with an invitation to accept and believe that Christ died for their sins. Its always the listeners decision to accept. If not fine! No one really throws the 'job, food, shelter' card to convert someone. Because if you think about it thats absurd. What would anyone gain by converting someone to chrisitanity. And on top of that they have to provide food and shelter to hundreds of 'converted' people? Why would anyone place that burden on himslef?
The 'food and shelter' part does exist but its only as a social service to the less fortunate and not as an incentive to their conversion.
